Advanced Wire Marking System
 PRACTICAL APPLICATIONS
The Advanced Wire Marking System produces sleeves and tags for the easy identification of electrical wire, cable, and mechanical tubing of all types. These sleeves and tags are not only permanent, but they are also economical to generate in-house on an as needed basis.
DURABLE PRODUCT
The products are manufactured from cross-linked polyolefin, a flame retardant material that will tolerate exposure to temperatures up to 135°C. The sleeves conform to AMS-DTL 23053/5, Class 1 & 3 for material and functional requirements. They are also resistant to common fluids, lubricants and solvents. Once printed, the sleeves are ready for installation without any additional treatment.
MARK PERMANENCE TESTED
“Mark permanence” is, generally speaking, the ability of a product to remain legible after exposure to either abrasion or aggressive fluids. We have adopted the most widely accepted mark permanence tests for its products. When tested, our Advanced Wire Marking Sleeves and Tags showed mark permanence quality beyond the minimum requirements of SAE AS81531.
CONVENIENT FORMAT
Flat, seamless heat shrinkable tubing and non-shrinkable tags are attached to fanfold paper with a reusable, adhesive tape backing. Fanfold paper also gives you the advantage of stacking and organizing after printing. The unique format provides a handy work-in-progress list, makes application a simple task for the installer and reduces the installed cost.
Printing Requirements
The products are printed on thermal transfer printers. Windows® software is included for free. Portable, hand-held printers are also available.

Our iTags are manufactured from high density polyethylene for maximum strength and durability. This thin, yet strong, tag can be used for identification of cables, wire bundles, conduit, hoses and many other applications.
